Hi all! Come over for a drink and discussion on Washington Black by Esi Edugyan and we can choose the order of books for the next few months. The plan is we'll choose from the NYTimes best books of 2018 selection, check them out here: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/29/books/review/best-books.html 

If anyone has a passionate opinion on adding another great book we can all discuss.

Let's say goodbye to summer with a rosé tasting!  We may not be fighting for control of the English throne, but we are duking it out for the title of Madison's Favorite Rosé.  Here's how it will work:

-Select your favorite $10-20 rosé.

-Bring TWO bottles of that wine to compete in a blind-tasting contest.

-Each person will vote on their favorite wine and the winner will take home all of the extra bottles!

Bringing an app/dessert/snack is appreciated, but not required :)

Come eat and drink with us! Bring a mediterranean dish to share.

Bring the whole family down to the 6th Annual Madison Newcomer's CHILI COOK OFF!!!  In addition to joining us, we're looking for members to enter their chili into the challenge!  If making chili is not your forte, we'd love it if you would bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Email bryonyaviles@gmail.com to enter your chili into the cook off (don't be shy - we can't wait to try your chili!), and/or RSVP with the side dish or dessert that you'll bring.

MNC will provide bowls, utensils and napkins!  Bring Your Own Drinks. 

We'll set up near the playground, so the kids can play while we taste (and judge) the chili contestants.  It's a great way to meet other newcomer families and for a fun (and yummy) time! 

It's time to get Friki with the Madison Newcomers Club at Friki Tiki - The only (all request) tiki piano bar in Connecticut!

Please join us for a fabulous night of craft cocktails, dancing and awesome live entertainment at Friki Tiki in Branford.

Live music starts at 9pm but we will be there from 7:30pm.

Candace Barnes, Pilates and Barre Instructor and owner of Petite Pilates, will be hosting TWO free Pilates-Barre Fusion workouts this month. Both at the Pilates Garage, both Pilates/Barre Fusion. Think fun music, pliés at the barre, arm, and ab work on the floor. All levels welcome!! Fun music, good friends! Don't be shy!!! RSVP to the Evite as space is limited. We may have a special visit from Lisa Goldenburg the studio owner who might teach a short trampoline segment!
